Formerly the VA infant school, the site is situated to the north east of the village between Peel Road and Fern Hill in a predominantly residential area.
There is a long driveway leading to the school which is a typical 1970’s single storey brick building with part pitched and part flat roof. Internally is a main hall with kitchens attached surrounded by a corridor with classrooms leading off.
Externally is a playground and a playing field which has a steep gradient to Fern Hill where there is a second access.
